Mark Timothy Ellis

It is with heavy hearts, we are sad to say that our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and good friend has passed away.

Mark Timothy Ellis passed away on Nov 4th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Mark was born Jan 17th, 1952 in Salt Lake City Utah to Afton Jane Bankhead Ellis and Aaron Kenneth Ellis.

Mark was a man with a plan, whose words were embedded with wisdom.

He spent his days if not working (in various fields), traveling, enjoying his music, taking care of his elders, and spending time with his family.

He was many things to many people. But was remembered most for his generosity, head full of hair, dressing sharp with a hat to match, and love for unique things.

His playful ways and straight forward approach will live in the memories of all who knew him. And if you were lucky enough, he'd create a catchy phrase personal to you.

Mark is survived by his brother Chris, his children Valerie, Mark Jr, Moses and Matthew, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 8 of his siblings and son Michael.

In respect of Mark’s wishes there will not be funeral services.
