Mary Jolene Romero

Born January 23, 1956, Jolene was the third child of Nelson and Ida Romero. A Down's Syndrome child, Jolene taught us love, compassion, and patience. She returned to the Lord's arms on March 16, 2022, not long after her story was told. Her journey is now complete.

Thank you Mom and Dad for being my voice and guiding light. I will always be your angel.

For those at American Fork Developmental Center that cared for me and continually do the Lord's work, God bless! Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough. I'm now flying with the angels!

Jolene is survived by her parents Nelson and Ida Romero, siblings Robert Romero, Rachel (Steve) Jenson, Sharon (Paul) Garcia, Gary (Sophia) Romero, many aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her grandparents Willie and Petronila Romero, Rudolfo and Amelia Romero, and sister-in-law Kathy Romero.

Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox St., Midvale, UT. Visitation from 9:30-10:15 am. Eulogy and mass to follow.
