Our mother/grandmother/great-grandmother/friend has gone home to be with her Father in Heaven and the loved ones that have passed on before her.

Melba LeBaron passed away on August 2, 2022 at the age of 91 in Nephi, Utah. She was born in Colonial Dublan, Mexico on April 13th, 1931 to Annie and Cleveland LeBaron. She grew up in Hurricane, Utah with her 2 sisters and her brother. She married Owen A. Allred and was later divorced. Together they had 5 children; Rodney, Merle, Annette, Elaine, and Grover.

During her life she was known for her love of family and friends. She enjoyed playing the piano, listening to country music, sewing, crocheting, and doing puzzles. She also loved singing and listening to hymns. Most of all, she loved the gospel and her Savior.

She is survived by her children Merle (Diana), Annette (Robin), Elaine (Sam), Grover (April), 35 grandchildren, 124 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney, her sisters, Evelyn and Cleora, her brother Cleon, her granddaughter Kathleen, and her grandson Armand “Jay.”

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 8, 2022, at 1125 North 400 East in Nephi, Utah (LDS Church House) with a viewing held one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery directly following the services.

The family wants to thank the Heritage Hills Care Center, which Melba called her home. She was loved by the nurses, CNAs and staff. Their care for her was most appreciated.
