Melody A. Williams, 74, beloved sister and aunt, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Born on Sunday, May 4, 1947 in Sandy, UT to Albert Williams and Mildred Smith Williams. Melody will be remembered for her love of reading; driving around doing errands; collection of earrings and pins; spending time with her cats and family; going to lunch with her dear friends or staying in touch by mail; along with always giving out hugs, kisses and words of love. Melody retired from Harmons at the Brickyard after over 30 years of service as a cashier which made her longtime friends that she cherished. Anyone who met her will remember how loving she was and always wanting the best for everyone, she will truly be missed and engraved forever in our hearts.

Melody is survived by her three siblings: Penny, Raleigh and Rodney Williams; along with her nieces Amanda Carlson (James and Cory); Shannon Williams (and son); Milly Ellis (and children); Sarah Williams Long (Chad and children), nephews Justin Williams (Jana and children); Andy (Randy and children) and Rodney Jr. Williams (Neta and children).

A viewing will be held at Goff Mortuary (8090 S. State St., Midvale, UT 84047) on Wednesday, March 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 24th at 10:30 a.m. for one hour before a short graveside service at Sandy City Cemetery (700 E 9000 S, Sandy, UT 84070) that starts at noon. Anyone is welcome to share a story, poem or prayer at the graveside.
