It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Michaeleen Lynette Bonner, (aka: Michaeleen Lynette Eldredge) fondly known as "Mikey," who departed this world on July 23, 2026. Born on February 8, 1968, in West Valley, Utah, Mikey left a lasting impression on everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and endless compassion. Surrounded by her loving family Mikey passed into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father.
Mikey was the cherished daughter of Rebecca Kunz Bonner, Larry Orson Bonner and Mike Eldredge, Her family, including her beloved brothers Wesley (Becky) and Brandon Bonner, Tawnda Littlewood (sister), Shannon Bond (step sister), Greg (Dana) Bonner (step brother), Angela (Don) Christensen (half-sister), Adam ( Heather) Eldredge (half Brother), September (Luke) Warnock (half-sister), Jonney Eldredge ( Half-brother), along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, were fortunate to have shared in her radiant spirit and boundless love.
A graduate of South Valley School, Mikey's life was enriched by her participation in Turn Community Services. She was an enthusiastic participant in the Special Olympics, where she proudly earned medals in ice skating, the 50-yard dash, and the 100-meter dash. Her involvement in programs at Jordan Valley School brought great joy to her family, who were delighted by her spirited performances.
Mikey was a social butterfly, greeting everyone with her signature phrase, “What’s your name?” "Are you my friend?” and “Are you ok?” followed by an affectionate "I Love You." And of course, giving a big hug, even to strangers who quickly became a fan. Her kind heart and inclusive nature made her a beloved friend to many. She had a talent for making people feel special and was generous in sharing her love and blessings, always speaking about Jesus with warmth and sincerity.
Her love for music was evident in her favorite songs, "I Am a Child of God" and the "Happy Birthday" song, which she sang with joy. Mikey adored her books, doll babies and cherished her pets, especially her dear Peanut. Her quick wit and sense of humor were ever-present, often amusing her family and friends with her clever retorts, particularly when she quipped,
"No license," when asked if she could drive. Her gratitude was evident in her heartfelt "thank you" to the medical staff following any procedure.
Her love for her brothers Wes and Brandon was immeasurable, and she eagerly followed them, partaking in their adventures and mischief. Mikey embodied unconditional love, living without judgment and accepting everyone for who they were.
