Myrna Tracy Scoffield

Myrna passed away peacefully 4/8/24 surrounded by loved ones. She was born 3/28/38 in Hunter, UT to Bill and Maude Tracy and was the youngest of 5 children. She grew up mostly in the Salt Lake Valley and Davis County finishing school at Davis High School before going to the LDS Business College where she got a certificate in Accounting. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was very passionate about her family. She was at her happiest when all her family was together enjoying a home cooked meal, playing games and laughing. She loved to take her family on vacations once a year and they were planned with great detail. She made sure to create as many great memories with family as she could, she loved every member of her family deeply.

She always went out of her way to support her family in all of their activities, from waiting in the hospital waiting room for the arrival of new family members, to attending baseball games, choir concerts, plays and dance recitals. She always made everyone feel loved and accepted and made friends everywhere she went.

She was also an avid BYU sports fan. At any time she could tell you the record of the football or basketball team and if they were ranked. Just don’t call her about the games for a day or 2 if they lost cause she was not happy!!

She worked multiple jobs as an Office manager specializing in accounting. She was one to never be bored whether she was working, reading, doing puzzles, quilting, cooking or baking and especially playing games.

She is survived by her sister Carma Trump, sister-in-law Karen Tracy, children Laura, Brett and Billie, Tyler and Roberta, grandchildren Tonya, Sean, Tesia, Rhonda and Jon, Cassie, Joe and Rubi, Jaxon, Haley, Maggie, Barrett, great grandchildren Malea, Hendrix, Layla, Lexi, Louie, Emma and Kailani.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Maude Tracy, siblings Dorothy and Ken Mott, Ronald and Carol Tracy, Karl Tracy, brother-in-law Jack Trump and her beloved daughter Tammy Scoffield.

Her memorial service will be held 4/15/24 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel located at 115 E Wicker Ln, Bountiful, UT 84010. The viewing will be from 10:30 -11:45 am with the funeral to start at 12 pm. There will be a graveside service starting at 1:30 at Lakeview Cemetery, 1640 Lakeview Dr, Bountiful, UT 84010, where she will be interred.

In lieu of flowers she would rather everyone get together with their families, have a lovely dinner and play games.
