Richard Deon Crawford, 1951 ~ 2022, age 70, passed February 19th surrounded by his loving family. Born April 5, 1951 in SLC, UT to Lois Mae Gadd and Deon Davis Crawford. He retired from his work as a US Air Force National Guard Civil Engineer after serving over 20 years. He also worked building high rise buildings and freeways throughout Utah and Nevada. He was very proud of his work, and often would point out the structures and buildings he built. He found a deep satisfaction in running and growing his real-estate business. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, planting endless trees and watching wildlife in his yard. One of his most beloved hobbies was dancing. Starting from a young age, he was an avid square dancer. He met his sweetheart Robyn square dancing, and they were married and spent the last years dancing through life together. He wrote his own rules and he paved his own way. He will be deeply missed. Survived by his wife, Robyn; children, Rustin (Amy), Kenneth, Anna (Brett); step children, Andrew (Kristy), Tony (Mary) and Keven (Kristi); siblings, Robin (Bill) Gayler, Lynette (Larry) Bean, Jana Crawford,  Keren (Peter) Moore, Kathy (Robert) Spratt, Teryl (Robin) Clark, Todd (Wendy) Henricksen, Kelly (Max) Schramn; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, Lois Mae Gadd, Deon Davis Crawford; siblings, Christine Jones, Jill Memmott, Tiffany Crawford. Funeral services will be held Sat. Feb 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will be held at noon prior to the funeral at Morningside Ward, 1555 W. Lovely Rd., Taylorsville, UT 84123. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
