Robyn Lee Buckingham

Robyn Lee Buckingham, age 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. She was born on December 4, 1957, in Murray, Utah, and most recently resided in Sandy, Utah.

Robyn was a beloved mother and devoted sister, and the greatest pride of her life was her two children, Cody Buckingham and Cheylynn Buckingham. Everything she did, in one way or another, was rooted in loving and providing for them.

She is survived by her son, Cody Buckingham and his wife, Tara Buckingham, her daughter, Cheylynn Buckingham and her husband, Tyler Holland, her sister, Wendy Buckingham and her husband Larry Buckingham; her brother, Todd Ainsworth; and her stepdaughters, Cathy, Alicia, Tonya, Sandy along with their significant others including many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Ball Ainsworth; her father, Bryant Joseph Ainsworth; her stepfather, Lynn Anderson; her brother, Kim Ainsworth; and her partner, Vance Hilton.

Robyn found joy in life’s simple, familiar comforts—crocheting, a strong cup of coffee, chips and cottage cheese, popcorn, fishing on warm summer days, and trips to Wendover. She was someone who noticed what others needed and quietly stepped in to help, never seeking attention or recognition. True to her nature, she preferred to stay out of the limelight, always placing the focus on others rather than herself.

Above all, Robyn will be remembered for her generosity, her steady presence, and the way she gave freely of herself to those she loved and to anyone who needed help. She was, without question, a world-class giver—and one hell of a woman.
