Ronald Theone Rosevear

Ronald Theone Rosevear, age 90, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on January 21, 2026, in Nephi, Utah. He was born August 29, 1935 in Salt Lake City to Theone Rosevear and Varona Walton.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife Judy, daughter Sheryl (Allen) Pitts, sons Larry Rosevear (Tish), Mark Rosevear (Jeanie), Rick Rosevear (Margie) and stepson Steven (Grettel) Peck, and stepdaughter Kimberly (Mike) Bretzing, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Lynn Rosevear and Richard Rosevear.

Ron served his country with honor as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He was an adventurer and visionary. He loved technology and built computers and loved 3-D printing. Ron was a photographer, pilot, race car driver and a good friend to many. Ron was an extremely successful business owner of 14 retail auto part stores “Auto Haus,” 13 stores in southern California and one in Utah.

Ron was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He demonstrated his commitment by serving diligently in various callings. Ron and Judy worked as ordinance workers in the San Diego and Payson temples.

A family and friends gathering will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2026, Nephi North Stake Center Relief Society Room, 1125 N. 400 E. Memorial services will begin at 12:00 noon in the Chapel.
