Rose Marie Moosman Shepherd

Rose Marie Moosman Shepherd passed away surrounded by family on January 14th, 2026.

She was born September 30th, 1941 in Circleville, Utah to Leroy and Guelda Moosman. Rose married Frank Shepherd on May 31st, 1958 in Elko, Nevada. They were sealed in the Manti Temple in December of 1996. Rose loved to Volunteer. She volunteered with the fair in Juab, the hospital in Richfield and the food bank in Nephi. Rose and Frank also ran the Shepherd’s Lodge and Shepherd’s Sporting Good store in Nephi. She loved to go camping and on cruises with her sisters.

Rose is survived by her children Wendy (Dale) Woten, Pam Shepherd, Johnny (Dey) Shepherd, her sister Lujean Hunt, 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frank, her parents Leroy and Guelda, her siblings Delroy, Mary, Velma, Jeneal, Foster, her daughter Roxane and her granddaughter Lori.

There will be a viewing on January 24th, 2026 at Anderson Funeral Home in Nephi from 11-12:30, a half hour private viewing will follow. Dedication of the grave will be in Fountain Green at 2 pm followed by a luncheon in Nephi.
