Ruth Bertha Jenkins Anderson

I peacefully joined my family and friends in heaven on September 18, 2026. I had a joyous and adventurous life. I was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am rejoicing to be home with the savior. I was born in Murray, Utah, on June 15, 1949, to Lorin and LaVern Jenkins. I had 8 siblings whom I loved so dearly.

I married Mont Naylor, the father of my four wonderful children: Shellie, Jeffery, Kristie and Jason. Later, I remarried my Husband Gary Anderson.

I built a career working for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Beehive Clothing Division. I was a seamstress, and my role included embroidering green temple aprons. I enjoyed every moment. I retired from Beehive Clothing Division in 2011 after 31 years of service.

In my spare time, I loved crafting. I spent many hours sewing, crocheting and cross-stitching. I was an avid reader. I played many games and completed countless puzzles. Although I enjoyed all of those things, the thing I loved most was traveling. I was proud to have visited 49 states, only missing Hawaii.

I am survived by my husband Gary Anderson; my siblings Lorin Davis (Patricia) Jenkins, Dan (Carla) Jenkins and Kathy (Clark) Ence; my children Shellie (Rich) Flanery, Jeffery (Jenn) Naylor, Kristie (Chad) Barnes, Jason (Crystal) Naylor; and many amazing grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I am preceded in death by my parents, Lorin and LaVern Jenkins, and my siblings: Judy Alverson, Lorin Ronald Jenkins, Carol Grover, Jack Jenkins and Gene Jenkins.

My services will be as follows:

A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, UT 84047. Funeral services will be held on

Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:00 am with a viewing one hour prior at the LDS Ward House located at 11626 South 300 East, Draper, UT 84020
