Sean Thomas Meehan-Kelley

Sean Thomas Meehan-Kelley, age 39, passed away on July 11, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born on January 31, 1986, in Santa Maria, California, Sean was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He worked as a Launch Analyst for financial support systems at Carta.

Sean had a deep love for life’s simple joys—going on trips with friends, golfing, watching hockey, and attending comedy shows. He especially loved cooking for the people he cared about, and had a real gift for turning ordinary moments into shared experiences. One of his favorite traditions was grocery shopping with his sister Erin—they would make a whole day of it, laughing, talking, and just being together.

But more than anything, Sean loved his family. That love ran deep and unwavering.

He is survived by his mother, Robyn Meehan-Kelley; his grandmother, Beverly Meehan; his sister, Erin Meehan-Kelley; and many other family members and friends who loved him deeply.

A memorial service was held on July 19 in Murray with all who knew and loved Sean were in attendance to honor and celebrate his life and mourn our loss.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Brain and Behavior Research in Sean’s memory.

Sean’s life left a mark that cannot be erased. He will be missed more than words can say.
