Sharon Colebrook

Sharon passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2025 surrounded by family.

She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jack and Irene Merrick on February 9, 1950. She married her beloved husband, Lewis Colebrook on May 22, 1970. Together they shared a love for raising their family and spending with friends and horses. Sharon also loved training and racing their horses and continued to follow the sport for her entire life.

She was a strong woman who was there for her family until the end, and upon her passing she stated that she intends to be a guardian angel for her entire family.

She is survived her daughters, Stacey Galvin (Kevin) and Korina Colebrook; grandchildren, Kelly Wiblitzhouser (Connor), Sean Galvin, Evin Beck and Xavian Beck; great grandchildren Finn and Heidi Wiblitzhouser; her brother Gary Merrick (Julie) and sister Diane Phizacklea. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Colebrook and her parents Jack and Irene Merrick.

A graveside memorial to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held on August 2nd at 12:00 PM at Riverton Cemetery, 1500 West 13200 South, Riverton.
