Sharon Ball Jones

Sharon was a mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all she met. With her loving grandchildren Chris and Desi by her side, she passed away peacefully on April 13th, 2022, after her long battle with cancer. We are comforted knowing she's at peace and once again reunited with the family she missed and loves so dearly.

A special thanks to her granddaughter Heidi who without a moment’s hesitation has traveled back and forth from her home in Oregon to help endlessly.

Born September 5th, 1940, in Murray, Utah to Leslie and Gladys Ball. Sharon attended Jordan High School where she met and married Gary Jones. They had three children, Cindy, Randy, and Ricky Jones. She later completed her classes and graduated from Jordan High. She devoted her life to her children and cherished her role as a mother. When she was not spending time with her children or grandchildren you could find her painting.

Sharon is preceded in death by her daughter Cindy, son Randy, brother Ray, and sisters Lynette and Sandra. She is survived by her son Rick, daughter in law Shannon, and grandchildren. She was an admirable and a warm-hearted woman who will be remembered for her beauty, generosity, and love.

Funeral services will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale on Saturday, April 30th at 11:00 am until 12:00, a short service will follow. Friends and family are welcome to come, and we encourage anyone who wants to share a memory to do so.
