Sharon Sue Yengich

Sharon passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 unexpectedly due to a brain aneurysm at the age of 56.

Sharon was born on April 30, 1965 in Anchorage, Alaska to Grady Carlton Price Jr, & Myrtle Tobuk. She was the sister and often caretaker to three brothers. She was tough from the very beginning and mastered cooking at young age; later in life it became part of her favorite way to spend time with her loved ones; BBQing, or smoking meat, cracking a cold one and gathering by the fire pit. We will all miss mom's cooking!

Sharon was so many things to so many people; but it was her beloved husband of which her world spun around.  Kevin was her soulmate, they were inseparable. They drove each other crazy but they had exactly what it took to persevere and dealt with each other perfectly. When they married, she gained such a big, beautiful family. She was so in love with all her grandchildren, each one of them filled her with pride, she lit up every time she seen them.

Sharon and Kevin spent their time hunting, fishing, camping, shooting guns...did I mention they were perfect for each other?  Eventually Sharon's love of the ocean caught up with her and she took Kevin to Puerto Rico to see the ocean for his first time. Luquillo became their favorite place to travel to, multiple family vacations followed.

Sharon was tough as nails; she could hold her own. She had a taxing job working as a traffic control supervisor for Granite. She was dedicated & had so much pride for the work she did. She made lifelong friends there. She worked hard but made sure to play harder.

A memorial service for Sharon is planned for Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. All are invited to attend.
