Sheri Stants

Sheri Stants, born in San Francisco, CA, on April 13, 1967, passed away on August 24, 2023, peacefully at home with her wife Ann by her side.

Sheri met Ann in 2006, and they were inseparable partners until they got married on Dec. 24, 2013; the two have been together ever since.

During her life, Sheri worked with numerous people and dedicated her life working with adults with disabilities, whom she grew to love and considered part of her family.

In recent years, Sheri enjoyed fishing and tried to go as much as possible. She loved to watch football and when it became football season it was best not to bug her. What brought a smile and joy to Sheri’s face was whenever she could spend time with those she loved and cared for, including her cats. The best things about Sheri were her strong will-power, smile, laugh, the love she gave to everyone, and especially her sense of humor. For how modest Sheri was, she was able to dish it out, but always blushed when hearing/receiving it.

She was the strongest, most kind-hearted and selfless person who worked hard, and gave her all to everyone she came in contact with. Sheri always made sure that everyone was taken care of first before herself. She was an optimist, always looking on the brighter side of things to stay positive. Sheri will always be an inspiration.

Sheri is survived by her wife Ann Myers, her daughter Max Stants, step-son Anthony Ball (Garrett), step-daughter Melissa Ball (Shawn), her mother Carol Brockman, her sister Jaime Blood, her brother Mark Brockman Jr. (Sara), plus many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, and her cat, Zim.

Preceded in death by her sister Deborah Timms and step-daughter Andrea Mitchell (Clint).

Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end.  It simply means we’ll miss you, until we meet again! – author unknown.
