Stephanie Francis Vincent Rivera

Stephanie Francis Vincent Rivera, age 58, passed away on July 24th, 2026.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Francis Elizabeth Rivera and Philip Joe Rivera, Stephanie was known for her vibrant social spirit and her deep dedication to her family. She was involved in several programs for special needs throughout her lifetime, including Chrysalis, Columbus Community Center, the Special Olympics, YWCA, and Camp Kostopulos. Stephanie also worked at the University of Utah for some time.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Elizabeth Rivera; her father, Philip Joe Rivera; and her son, Jason Matthew Rivera. She is survived by five sisters and two brothers: Victoria Feliciano, Steven Rivera, Christine Morningstar, Yvonne Taylor, Kelly Taylor, Paul Rivera, Elizabeth Rivera, and Mary Rivera, as well as several nieces and nephews whom she adored. A special thank you to the staff at Chrysalis and Columbus Community Center.

A funeral service will be held on August 11th at 12:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine located at 331 East South Temple.
