Sue Ann Smith

Sue Ann Smith passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026. Sue Ann was born August 1, 1942, in Idaho Falls, ID, and was later adopted by Frank and Elsie Lloyd (of Draper), who raised her in a very loving home.

Sue Ann married Byron Lamont Smith on April 7th, 1961, and was later sealed in the Oakland California Temple for Time and All Eternity. They had two children, Julie Ann Hansen and Karen Mott.

Sue Ann was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, wife, and friend. She was always thoughtful, giving gifts to her family and friends often. She could keep you entertained with stories of her life experiences and was always fun to be with.

Sue Ann is survived by Julie Ann Hansen (Daughter), David Brian Hansen (Son in Law), her six Grandchildren – Summer Aubrey, Parker Hansen, Tyler Hansen, Paige Debry, Hollie Mott, and Hunter Mott. She also had 12 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Byron LaMont Smith (husband), and Karen Mott (daughter).

A viewing will be held at Anderson & Goff Mortuary in Draper, located at 11859 South 700 East, on Saturday March 28th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. After the viewing there will be a Graveside Service located at the Draper Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life Luncheon at 2:00. All are invited to attend. (Luncheon will be held at the LDS Church on 13006 South Boulter Street.)
