Susan Glenn Sheby

Susan Glenn Sheby, 58, of Sandy, Utah passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, in Murray, Utah due to complications related to a digestive system illness. She was born on May 24, 1965, in Salt Lake City, to Gail and Harold Glenn. She graduated from Alta High School and attended Snow College. She married Gary Sheby on August 29, 1992, they later divorced.

Susan struggled with addiction for many years but was able to achieve years of sobriety and was very proud of that. She had a love for music, especially artists Billy Joel and Post Malone. She loved her cat, Charlie, and they cared for each other and spent many nights cuddling together. Susan was also very close with her family and loved them with her whole heart. She had a gift of caring for others and could make even strangers feel welcome and part of the family. Susan was a member of the Community of Grace Presbyterian Church in Sandy, Utah and she truly loved the church and the people there, and they loved her.

Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and her father.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth Sheby and David Nicholas, and Emily Sheby; her mother, Gail Glenn; brother, Todd Glenn; and two nieces and a nephew.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Community of Grace Presbyterian Church, 2015 E Newcastle Drive, Sandy, UT. In lieu of flowers please consider donating on Susan’s behalf to USARA at www.myusara.com

The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Draper Rehabilitation and Care Center and Intermountain Medical Center. We know you’re at peace, Susan, and we miss and love you.
