Taryn Mason Brown, age 39, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, tragically passed away on December 9, 2025. Born March 16, 1986 in Sandy, Utah to Craig Rex Brown and Kristine Mason Brown. He is survived by his parents, brother, Taven Craig Brown (Brooke), sister, Kristien Brown Lewis (Randy), nieces, Evielee Lewis and Lily Grace Brown, and nephew, Conley Lewis.

Taryn will be remembered by all who knew him for his sharp wit, kind heart, and remarkable creativity.

Taryn grew up in Utah surrounded by a close and loving family. He graduated from Olympus High School in 2004. Following graduation, he moved with his parents to Virginia where he worked at several jobs but the job he loved most was landscaping. He loved turning properties into works of art. He later moved to Tennessee hoping to someday homestead.

From an early age, Taryn displayed an inventive mind and a genuine enthusiasm for learning often tinkering with projects and dreaming up new ways to blow up GI Joes among other things. He could figure out anything from constructing a dog run and chicken tractor, to preparing dentures, to being a cook. He was an avid video game player and was so excited when he got his Nintendo 64.

He loved his family but most of all he loved his dogs, Butch, Crash and Tremor.

A viewing will be held at Anderson & Goff Mortuary from 10:30 to 12:30 am on December 18, 2025 located at 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. A graveside service will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens at 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah at 1:00 pm.
