Ted Peter Ballow

Ted Peter Ballow passed away on October 19th, 2022, surrounded by his family. Ted was born in Mount Kisco, New York on November 8th, 1939, to parents Frank and Venice Ballow. Ted lived his life in his favorite place in the world, Levan Utah. He married the love of his life Mala Don Memmott on June 17th 1961 in Scipio UT. They had two children.

He was a proud member of the Ironworkers Union Local #27 for the past 33 years. He loved to weld and was a welder all his life from a very young age. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, ranching, horseback riding, anything that included his family. No matter who he met they became his friend. He had the biggest heart and he loved everyone, but most of all he loved his sweetheart, Mala Don. He adored being with his two children Marci and Troy, they are their pride and joy. Ted didn’t go anywhere without his family because they were his best friends. He left us far too soon. We will forever miss him and always love him.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Mala Don; daughter, Marci (Troy) Ingram of Riverton, UT; daughter-in-law, Ronda Ballow, of Levan; his pride and joy, his grandkids, Travis (Heather), Elise (Tyler), Tyrell (Amanda) and Justin (Jessie), great grandkids, Makia, Raylie, Tait, Taigan, Tenleigh, McKinley, Treyson, and Aria. Preceded in death by his son Troy, and his parents Frank and Venice Ballow.

Funeral services will be held at 12 PM, Monday, October 24th in the Levan LDS Church, 25 N 100 E, Levan, UT. There will be a viewing held from 9:30 – 11:30 AM prior to the services. Burial will be in the Levan Town Cemetery.
