Thomas "T.J." John Anderton

Thomas John Anderton (T.J.) passed away on the night of April 22, 2025 at age 35. He was born June 28, 1989, in American Fork, Utah to Laura Lee Crane (Jayson Crane, Sr.) and Duane Anderton (Robin Reno).

T.J. attended Riverton High School before starting a career in construction. He was an incredibly hard worker and took a lot of pride in the projects he was involved in. He traveled for work many times over the years and always stayed connected with family and brought back stories from everywhere he went.

He loved spending his time in the mountains, fishing, camping, hiking, and being an adventurer. So many of our memories were made sitting at a campfire, laughing and talking into the night. He made friends everywhere he went and it was easy to settle into conversation with him. His mind was eager to learn and grow and you could always find books and various puzzles with him.

He loved his family more than anything. He is survived by his parents, including Angii Hansen; siblings Melissa Anderton, Jayson Crane, Jr. (Jessy), JayLee Reudter (Joshua), Ben Webb, and Samantha Speaker (William); nieces and nephews Luca, Emmett, Isla, Hayden, Jackson, SaylorPaige, Kohen, and Eli.

T.J. had an incredible heart and compassion for others. He always looked for ways to help and would jump in without hesitation. We are beyond grateful for the time we’ve had with him and will cherish our memories of him every day.

We will be having a Celebration of Life service on his birthday, June 28, 2025. Details will be shared when we have them.
