Wyatt Nelson Miles
Wyatt was born in St George Utah on September 17, 1931 to Wyatt W and Zelda Miles. He was the oldest of three boys and his childhood was spent in St. George Utah, Washington DC, Panguitch Utah and Richfield Utah.
Wyatt graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in vertebrate zoology. He then moved to Dallas Texas to attend Baylor Dental College. Upon graduation from Baylor Dental he moved back to Midvale, Utah and practiced dentistry for 33 years.
He married Jeanine Rasmussen in 1961 and they settled in Midvale Utah where they raised their family and spent 62 years together. Wyatt is survived by wife Jeanine, daughter, Stephanie (Lee) Alger, son, Wyatt (Delynn) Miles, five grandchildren, Dannielle (Shane) Petersen, Daneen (Jeff) Nielsen , Demri (Morian) Black, Alex Miles, Chad Miles, and twelve great grandchildren. Wyatt is also survived by his brothers, Sherwood Miles and Vincent Miles.
Wyatt was preceded in death by his parents Wyatt W, and Zelda Miles, sister in-law Theda Miles and niece Alyce Diane Miles Clark.
Wyatt had a deep love for his family and always wanted them to be taken care of. He was always concerned about the wellbeing of his family. He loved watching his children grow into adults but his greatest joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to spend time with them and they brought him great joy.
The family would like to thank both Serenity Hospice and Cascades at the Riverwalk for both the care they provided dad and the support they provided to the family.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7th at 12:00 PM, with a viewing from 11:00 – 11:45 AM prior to the funeral. The viewing and funeral will take place at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Midvale, Utah 84047.
Interment at Herriman City Cemetery.
