Robert William Sommer began his eternal journey with his Heavenly Father on March 10th 2020. Robert was born August 17th 1960 in Pomona California.
Robert married the love of his life, Jan, on May 20th 2002. They were sealed for time and all eternity on November 17th 2017 in the Provo City Center Temple. He loved Jan more than anything else and he believed family was the most important thing in life. It didn’t matter if you were blood, step, an in-law, or a friend; you were family to Robert.
Robert was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many callings throughout his life and fulfilled them to the fullest, including his service as a full time missionary in New York from 1979-1981.
